My suggestion would be, if you're truly worried about content he's accessing then setup a firewall to restrict sites he can visit. Actually, I had free reign on the internet.Īs it so happens, I turned out just fine! My dad was an IT guy but always respected my privacy. I like new windows 8 where you can setup a child account with a any limitations you want and you can limit the internet usage to # of times you can use per day / week / # of hours, etc and at the end of the week it emails the reports along with the websites visited in that account. He is going to hide other stuff from you. he is going to find different ways of doing/accessing it.

If you block something, put software to monitos and the day he finds out not only he is going to be angry. You might just want to have a talk with your son and be like look this is what you can do and this is what you cannot do.

TL,DR: I'm spying on my son and I want to see what he's doing on the PC by taking screenshots and saving them to Dropbox. I really want something that will only take them while my son is logged in and actively using the PC - and not while it's locked. There are some command-line tools out there that I've seen, but I don't really want to invade my wife's privacy by taking screehshots while she's logged in. So what I really want is some sort of program that can take a screenshot whenever he's logged in at set intervals (say 30-60 seconds) and dump it into my Dropbox so I can check them out from my phone in the other room without him knowing.

You can use this setup to run a slide show on the full screen of a secondary monitor while you view the presentation in normal view on the primary monitor. If this is already setup you will get a This is currently your main display notice in its place

Click the Make this my main display check box (1).

Select the monitor icon that you want to use as your main monitor.

Right mouse click the Desktop and choose Screen Resolution.

Insert the monitor into the second monitor port in the computer.

Each monitor has its own resolution/display/size settings.

The window you want to move cannot be maximised.

If you move a program/window, like Excel, and drag it to the second screen, it will automatically open in the second screen next time you open it.

If you want to use the second monitor you need to drag the window to the next screen. Your number one monitor acts like a normal screen. When using two monitors, you can move 'windows' between screens.
